Angela is one creative dog...in this picture she triumphantly strides through her path of destruction. She dismembered a throw pillow and spread the fluffy white batting throughout the living room, like a freak, localized snowstorm. Another recent escapade was to pull the skillet off the stove (luckily it had cooled) and devour the remains of an omelette. She also gnawed the end of the spatula down to a nub. She never ceases to entertain us and keep us on our toes.
Please hang in there with this little girl!! She will grow out of this stage, I promise!!! Keep loving her!!!
ReplyDeletePlease don't think that we are complaining. The purpose of this blog is inform Angela's fan club of her new happy life. She stole our hearts and we will always love her. It is hard not to love an animal that sleeps on her back, four paws pointed at the ceiling, and her head on your shoulder. Did I mention that she snores! We are heading off to dog beach. A tired dog is a good dog.
ReplyDeleteMy rescue girl, Winnie, from SCGRR, also loves to chew spatulas. She takes them right out of the dishwasher and chews them to bits on her bed. And pulls things off the counter. I love reading about your experiences with Angela, and I'd love it if you could post a picture of her sleeping like you described!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about spatulas? We'll try for a photo of her sleeping on her back--trouble is, when she knows we're moving around she wants to be up so that she won't miss any excitement! So glad to hear that Winnie found a good home.
