What a treat to take Angela to the beach! She took to the water like a pro. After racing the waves to the shore at first, she decided that it was fun after all and ran around with Arthur as he chased his prize frisbee. She made the rookie mistake of drinking the water but quickly realized that was not a great idea. After the beach we went to the dog wash for a little cleanup; she was less happy with that part of the day. She's now curled up on her favorite chair taking a little snooze.
How beautiful. It looks as if she is smiling! I am so happy she has found such happiness.
ReplyDeleteI don't think anything has made me happier than looking at the pictures of Angela enjoying her life with you -- if ever a dog and a family were meant to be together, it is surely all of you. I love the picture of her playing with your other dog. How amazing -- that in spite of everything, she is still able to play. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the kind words. It's incredible to read about how many people Angela has affected. She smiles and plays now, and positively prances when she walks. Tonight she settled into a pile of clean laundry without a care in the world. I love how she "paws" at me when she wants attention or a little extra love.
