Angela has grown into a beautiful, loving dog in the nearly two years we've been together. She and Arthur play every day, chasing each other around the house and yard. They collapse on the sofa, one on either end, waiting for the next adventure. Is that Rocky the neighborhood cat? Time to bark! She curls up with us in bed; some mornings I wake up with a furry face next to mine on the pillow. Her fur has come in wonderfully thick and luxurious (she says, "don't hate me because I'm beautiful!"). She still has a couple of battle scars on her nose but we think they add character. Angela has been back to see her most awesome foster people, Stevi and Dave, a couple of times. She is so very grateful to all those who helped her in her journey to her forever home. Sorry there has been so long between posts--if anyone still reads this please comment occasionally so that I know you're there! The picture is Angela's One Year Home photo--we celebrate those happy days with both of our precious rescue dogs.
Enjoyed reading Angela's story. How great that she found a loving home. I lost my golden in October and hope to adopt when I am ready.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your beloved golden. SCGRR is a wonderful organization if you live in SoCal. I hope that you again find furry happiness.
